Marc Insul is the Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Asset Preservation (CAP), a Salt Lake City-based provider of general maintenance, repair, and inspection services for commercial real estate nationally across the U.S and Canada. He is a 25-year veteran of the property maintenance and inspection industry.

Commercial Asset Preservation has extensive contractor resources allowing it to provide clients with cost-effective solutions which place their properties in condition to keep landlords, retail tenants and municipalities happy, and make the properties appealing to consumers. Marc has grown CAP from a start-up company in 2009 to a business handling more than 1,000 properties per month for many of the nation’s largest retailers, banks, and REIT’s.

Prior to launching CAP, Marc served as President and COO of Fidelity National Field Services (FNFS). FNFS at that time was the nation’s largest residential field services (property inspection and maintenance) company and a division of Fortune 500 company Fidelity National Financial. Marc’s business experience includes serving on many real estate industry boards, including the REOMAC Commercial Committee as well as its Technology and Marketing subcommittee. He also served as President and a held a 5-year term on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS).

Marc is a four-time recipient of Fidelity National Financial’s Chairman’s Roundtable award, given to the most successful divisions in the Fidelity National Financial family of companies. In 2003 Marc was selected as a member of the Crain’s Cleveland Business “40 Under 40,” in which the regional publication annually recognizes the forty leading young executives in Northeast Ohio.

Marc has served several times as an industry expert on conference panels and is the author of numerous trade publication articles. Marc received a BSBA degree from Washington University in 1990 and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 1994.
