Today’s changing real estate environment is creating challenges for many retailers and commercial office tenants. It is becoming more and more important to understand the details of the negotiation before you sign the lease. This is especially true when it comes to the ongoing battle of occupancy cost overcharges.  

This Webinar will review several types of occupancy cost overcharges as seen by those who review the landlord CAM and Operating Expense invoices, and give ideas on lease language to help control these overcharges. It will also look at the communication between the Lease Administration Department and The Leasing/Transaction Team and how “Keeping an Ear to the Ground” is essential in today’s environment to negotiate a better lease and save the tenant money. This course will be valuable for lease administrators, leasing/transaction managers, legal staff and others engaged in the negotiation of commercial leases.

The NRTA Webinar Series is free for all active NRTA members. A $25 fee will be charged for non-members, which is payable by credit card only.
